A:No, but it can be approved under part 107 within the FAA with a valid reason. Night flying presents a number of dangers. The regulations state that drones can only fly between 30 minutes prior to sunrise and sunset unless an exemption is granted from this rule by the FAA.
A: MDP’s Drone can operate for 25-30 minutes on a single battery depending the wind speed, air temperature, and other conditions. MDP carries multiple batteries in order to charge batteries on location so we can fly uninterrupted for an entire day if needed. It is also why it is important to get with MDP with a vision of execution.
A: Yes, though there is not recommended it is not legally restricted with the FAA. MDP is an experienced pilot that has flow indoors before to capture special wedding moments. It does depend on the venue/ceiling hight and potential obstacles. With new technology, and prop guards it is safer then people believe.
A: Yes and no. While the drone MDP uses has an advance model that is 60% quieter than others, it still has some noise. The lower it is to the ground the more noticeable the noise is if you “listen” for it, however when its higher in the air you do not hear it. For those special once in a life time moments, MDP finds that people are more focused and are “in the moment” to notice and are even more excited to be able to capture those special moments to cherish for a lifetime.
